NFA Task Eagles To Lift The Cup

NFA's Executive Committee have charged the Super Eagles to win the Cup of Nations for Nigeria.
After a meeting on Monday night in Abuja, the NFA in a communiqué said the members of the Super Eagles must put in their best effort to win the trophy for Nigeria.
The communiqué also added that the FA's leadership have promised Nigerians that they will provide the best administration to support the ambitions of the Super Eagles to win the Nations Cup.
The NFA also asked Nigerians to pray for the Super Eagles' success in Ghana.
NFA spokesman, Abubarkar Ladan told Kick Off that the FA have put all in place to ensure that the Eagles go all the way at the Nations' Cup and now expect the players and coaches to do same.
"We believe we will win. We have worked so hard to get this far and it all now takes that little element of luck for us to get the Cup. The players must also show total commitment too," Ladan says.
Meanwhile, the FA's Executive Committee has also lifted the ban placed on the NFL chairman, Oyuiki Obaseki and Shehu Garba Gusau.
Abubarkar Ladan said after the meeting in Abuja that, "the ban placed on the Oyuiki Obaseki and Shehu Garba Gusau has been lifted.
"In tempering justice with mercy, the NFA Executive Committee considered the appeal of all well-meaning Nigerians, the need to achieve peace and genuine reconciliation and Chief Obaseki's willingness and compliance to the conditions given to him," Ladan explained.
He also revealed that another board member, Peter Singabele has not been pardoned by the Executive Committee of the Association.
