Manchester United fans are looking over to the bar gutted here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they hear the gossip coming from the Daily Telegraph, who seem to think that the club are set on losing David De Gea before pre-season even starts.
Real Madrid are heading off on tour on 13th July and are determined to unveil the goalkeeper by that point – and have rid of Iker Casillas to boot.
Now as one of our punters notes over a beer and burger, we think that De Gea is basically a done deal, but the Casillas situation could be one to watch, especially for Arsenal and potentially even Manchester United should they fail to get any of their targets in to replace the Spaniard.
