Ajax Cape town has finally secured the services of Nigerian striker Tasiu Mohammed who agreed on a two year contract with the Urban Warriors recently.
The former Niger Tornados striker’s agent Mohammed Lawal has confirmed to press that the player has arrived back in South Africa and has already started training.
“Tasiu is now officially an Ajax Cape Town player; however he will only start playing for Ajax next season as they already have five foreign players on their books.
The 21-year-old striker trained with Mamelodi Sundowns earlier before moving to Ajax Cape Town in January where he impressed the team’s technical team.
Mohammed, who scored 12 goals in 18 games for Tornadoes, has also played for the Nigerian national Under-17, Under-20 and Under-23 sides.chjnef
