Nigeria/Ghana:Eagles will rise up To The Occassion-Mikel

Mikel Obi, MTN Man of the Match in the Nigeria/Benin encounter has predicted a tough game in Sunday's quarter final encounter between Super Eagles and Black Stars.

The match will hold at Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra on Sunday.Obi who was reacting to journalists' questions on Tuesday at a post-match news conference moments after the 2-0 victory over the Squirrels of Benin Republic, re-assured Nigerians of a re-invigorated team in action.

"The fact that the Black Stars will be playing at home will not mean the Eagles will give up the battle for the semi-final ticket.

"The Super Eagles now have an opportunity to keep alive the ambition to win the trophy of the 26th Africa Cup of Nations," Obi said.

He noted that in spite of the initial flops, "the Eagles, will be Ghana's nightmare, when we get to the 'battle' front."According to the midfielder, the Super Eagles now have the opportunity they have been waiting for to settles scores with the Black Stars.

Part of the scores was the Eagles unforgettable 1-4 spanking by the Black Stars during a friendly game in London in 2007.

"I will make good use of the chance, I have to play against the Stars and their fans at Ohene Djan Stadium to get the best off the game," Obi said
