New stadium in Casablanca by 2013

Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, is to build an 80,000-seater football stadium by 2013, the city's mayor Mohamed Sajid has announced.
The stadium will replace the 70,000-seater Mohammed VI Stadium at a cost of US$260m.

Sports and Youth minister Nawal Moutawakil promised further investment in sporting infrastructure.

The building of three other football stadiums in Agadir, Marrakesh and Tangier.

"Work on the three stadiums is at the half-way stage," said Moutawakil.
