Man United keen in singing Brazilian Cruzeiro defender Dede

Man United are reportedly keen on bringing in Brazilian Dede to replace veteran Nemanja Vidic
The 25 year old Cruzeiro defender has been in marvelous form of late, helping his side to a title last season and retaining his spot in Felipe Scolari’s national team squad and may well be ready to make the inevitable jump from South America to Europe.David Moyes Man United

The powerful centre-back is apparently available for a fee of around £12m which seems a fair price in today’s inflated transfer market and David Moyes would do well to bring in Dede though a move seems more likely in the summer, though his valuation could increase off the back of the 2014 World Cup finals.
Serbian Vidic is out of contract in the summer as is Rio Ferdinand and Moyes may well feel the time is right to freshen up his defence and with Chris Smalling and Phil Jones being more ideally suited to right-back and defensive midfield duties respectively there may be an even more pressing need to bring in a solid central defensive addition.
