Kenyan boxer Collins Otieno Oduor, famously known as Sande, has been incorporated in the latest ratings in the top 20s by the prestigious World Boxing Council (WBC).
Collins, who holds the WBC Intercontinetal super bantamweight title is one of the few boxers from Africa rated rated by the Mexico-based regulatory body under President Jose Suleiman.
According to the latest ratings for December/January, the diminutive Kenyan fighter is placed 14th in the world in his weight category, whose champions are Israel Vacquez of Mexico, World Boxing Association (WBA) title holder - Celestino Ceballero of Panama, World Boxing Organization (WBO) champion Daniel Ponce of Mexico and International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion Steve Melitor of Canada.
Meanwhile, Anthony Napunyi, the reigning Universal Boxing Council (UBC) super bantamweight champion, will on Saturday face Joseph Akhahonya in an Africa Boxing Union (ABU) bout at the Nairobi's Club Afrique.
