The chairman of the African Handball Confederation, Cristopher Yapo, on Friday here thanked the Angolan government for the level of organisation of the 18th edition of the men and women African Nations Cup (CAN) of this sport, in view of the fact that the official did not find any organisational problems in the five provinces where the games are taking place.
The official said so during his stay in Huambo Province, in the ambit of his work visit to check the organisational level of the competition, having also thanked all the executive boards of the provinces where the games are taking place and all those who direct or indirectly have contributed for the success of the event.
"The delegations and head officials are feeling at ease since arriving in Angola. I held meetings with the head officials and they did not present any complaint ( )", he assured.
Cristopher Yapo also thanked the various Angolan and foreign press organs, for their promotion and information work relating to the competition, to the continent and the world, which has equally contributed for the success of the event.
In his opinion, the Angolan government should continue to create conditions to host more championships to motivate the youths
